Need Earthmoving? Here’s 3 things to consider

1. Experience

Jericho Earthmoving has years of experience with under house excavation and narrow access excavation. Tight access excavation is technical and requires skill and knowledge to make sure it is done safely. We work with builders, engineers, architects, and other trades to get the job planned and completed with the least hassle possible.

Some jobs may entail lifting in machinery by crane to get into the job. Often this would mean filling Binns and craning them back out to remove excess soil from the site. Other jobs require us to navigate down the narrow sides of the home to get into the area to be excavated. We have even had to go through homes to get machinery into the backyard. Once while the family were getting kids fed and ready for school!

2. Gear

The gear we use is often different for each job. Sometimes we are digging out soil and clay and using the soil generated onsite. This requires just an excavator and operator. From this, we then have jobs where we have to bring in mini dumpers to remove soil out to the front of the property and onto trucks.

A lot of jobs require us to remove rock for the project. This entails rock hammers, rock-saws and rock augers. Under house work can be restrictive but the result gives our clients room to increase their living space and increases the value of the home. From adding car parking to second living areas and granny flats it is a great way to add value to the home.

3. Peace of Mind

Often improving a home requires excavation in tight access areas of the home. It is important to use skilled trades for this type of work. Jericho Earthmoving is a fully licensed subcontractor and has skilled operators. We are fully insured and have all the gear available for this type of work. David Smith is the owner of Jericho Earthmoving has been involved in the building industry for 38 years and is a qualified Structural Landscaper.

Jericho Earthmoving has been operating on the Northern Beaches, North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner western suburbs and City for the past 19 years with many, many jobs completed during that time.

There are many builders who use our services time and time again because they know that it is important to get their job out of the ground as fast as possible. Builders also rely on our experience with excavation to recommend the best way to complete the work. Often we will meet onsite to go through the planning of a job to make sure we do it safely and with minimal disruption. Organising secondary trades can also be important like cranes, scaffolding, conveyor belts, etc.
